Rinaldo Willy and Veit Brimer found themselves in the HTW (University of applied sciences) in Chur, Switzerland.
After getting acquainted to this possibility from a research lab in germany the idea was born.
2003 was busy with researches:
- Research on public approval:
- Are there people wanting a memorial like that?
- What do the churches say?
- What does regulations in different countries say?
- Research on technical possibilities:
- Very clear from the first glance was: Memorial diamonds must be pure; there should not be any additives, colourants, added carbon. How could that be made?
- Beginn of the chemical and physical research with approved laboratories in Switzerland.
- Beginn of collaboration with officials in Switzerland.
- Market Studies:
- Creating a business case for Switzerland.
- Creating a business case for Europe.
- First contact with possible customers.
- First contacts to funeral homes.
In the end of 2003 Rinaldo Willy and Veit Brimer where sure that their will be ways of solving the tasks lying ahead.
